My favorite writings is Mario Benedetti was born in Paso de los Toros (Tacuarembó, Uruguay) on September 14, 1920, son of Brenno Benedetti and Matilde Farrugia, who, following his Italian customs, baptized him with five familiar names like Mario Orlando Hardy Hamlet Brenno Benedetti Farrugia.
Benedetti used several methods to give life and style to
his poems. Some of the most important texts are:
'LIVE ADREDE' In the
philosophical tone so characteristic in Benedetti's literature, the author
makes us reflect on this work on issues as exciting as life or the human soul.
An ideal work for beginners in the author, entertaining, easy to read and very
inspiring and 'TIMEBOX' One of the best-known stories anthologies of the
Uruguayan writer, talks about history, but not about history with capital
letters, but about the small events.
Benedetti captivated my heart in the classes of Professor
Aurora, who always started with a poem from him. I hope you read it and enjoy
